Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Math by M K Mittal (“we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through mathbymkmittal.com. We collect only what we need to respond to your enquiry, and we do not sell your information.

Information we collect

When you fill in the enquiry or free-demo form, we collect:

• whether you are a parent or a student, and your name;
• your mobile number and, if you choose to give it, your email address;
• the student’s class and board, and the programme you are interested in;
• anything you write in the message box;
• the page you sent the form from, and the date and time you agreed to be contacted.

For security, we also record a one-way coded version (a keyed hash) of your device’s IP address and your browser’s user-agent string. We do not store your IP address itself.

How we use it

• To contact you by phone or WhatsApp about your enquiry and to arrange a free demo class.
• To recommend a suitable programme for the student.
• To protect the website from spam and abuse, for example by limiting how many forms can be sent from one connection.

We will not add you to marketing messages without asking you first.

Students under 18

Most of our students are under 18. If the student is under 18, the form should be completed by a parent or guardian, or with their permission. Parents and guardians can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete information about their child.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It uses:

• mkm_form — a security cookie that confirms enquiry forms were sent from this website. It contains a random value, is not used to track you, and expires after 7 days.
• mkm_admin — a session cookie used only by our staff when they sign in to view enquiries. Visitors never receive it.

Who can see your information

Only Math by M K Mittal staff who respond to enquiries. Your information is stored in a database on our web hosting provider’s servers (Hostinger), who process it on our behalf. If email notifications are switched on, a copy of your enquiry is also sent to our own mailbox. We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires us to.

When you tap a WhatsApp link, WhatsApp’s own privacy policy applies to that conversation.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond to you and for our own records, and we delete them when you ask us to.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent to be contacted at any time. We handle personal information in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Security

The website uses HTTPS encryption, protects its forms against forgery and spam, and keeps the database and its passwords outside the public part of the web server.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
